I sat right there and watched it go down the drain...I was gonna slam it with a $220.00 bid but in the end I really couldn't see the usefulness to me. :(

Some likely flipper did well- they go back on eBay at 50-70 a pair.

i didn't bid because you said you were.

I'd give 50 for a pair just to hear them but wouldn't want to be labeled a flipper by trying to shed most of them. Hopefully they do come back up. All the other ones I saw for sale were not alinco's like these were.

So this has been an educational lesson in communication skills.

There's nothing derogatory about being a flipper, it's theiving scumbags that give the business term a sour flavor. Probably could have offloaded most of the surplus within the forum, sell the remainder and funnel the profit to benefit the forum, or Todd's fund, or a split. That'd make one a "benefactor" rather than a flipper.

I'm as guilty as anybody, i'd have probably taken a pair, or 3. But, i never stepped up to the plate and reached out to Cradledorf, nobody's fault but mine

Finally, please don't anybody be upset with Cradledorf. If you read back thru the thread, he was very upfront about his bid and his intentions long before the auction ended.

The squeaky wheel always wheel gets the grease.
